My name is Alyssa VanDusen! I founded VanDee Photo in 2021 and have been documenting my own life through photography since 2016. My passion for photography started long before that. For as long as I can remember I have always been taking photos, as a little kid I was often reminded about SD card space as I was always using up every single card on any camera that was in my hands. You couldn't convince me that a photo was not needed.
As a little girl the importance of capturing life around you was really important to me. I grew up in an ever changing environment and I never knew how long a chapter in my life would last. Due to this, I learned first hand how absolutely important it is to capture it all. I got my first job in 2016 and used my entire paycheck to buy my first DSLR so I could document my life through a lens. Since then I have taken photos every where I was allowed to take a camera. There is nothing more special to me than capturing life’s precious moments and the beauty that comes with the human experience. I care so much about embracing and capturing the life around me, it moves me to tears more often than I would like to admit. It is truly an honor, privilege and blessing to be invited into your lives to share my passion, and document the beauty of your life too and whatever comes with it.
